Nick and his team are amazing! Nick himself does all the work. He came out to do the estimate, suggested a plan, and did all the work with the help of a couple guys. He was there every step of the way, no hiding behind subcontractors.

Nick and his guys replaced a severely damaged rim joist, a portion of damaged sill plate, and fixed several floor joists in the basement. They took care to make sure HVAC and other mechanical work was not damaged during the repairs. His work got rid of a noticeable dip and squeaking in the living room floor. In addition to that his guys also took care of some punch list items I needed done around the house.

I can't stress enough how pleased I am with the work Nick and his crew did in my condo. They took two closets, one small and one large (both with plain sliding doors - see photo), and transformed them into a beautiful space for my flat files and frames next to a lovely new art studio.
I especially appreciate the fact that they listened to all of my concerns carefully and worked hard to make the space exactly what what I wanted. Nick Reidy did a fantastic job addressing our many structural problems in our crawl space and attic!  He and his crew were knowledgeable, hard working, and friendly.  They arrived early in the morning to begin protecting areas and getting started.  They worked diligently all day, only breaking for lunch.  The weather was challenging, with high temperatures and humidity, but they never let that slow them down.  They explained each step and answered all our questions.  They made recommendations along the way to enhance the crawl space.  They replaced all the rotted wood, raised the house to put in new steel supports and beams, insulated the area, painted the cinder block with Drylock paint, ran electric to install Humidex unit and lights, reinforced and added wooden beams in the attic.  Throughout the process, they were professional and cleaned up any debris.

Had the main beam of my home replaced. From my first call Nick was a pleasure to work with. Everything went great and the work was top notch quality. Nick is a stand up guy.  Found him online and submitted a contact form.  He showed up on time and within just a couple of days of me reaching out for a quote.  Walked through a short list of concerns and he talked me through each one - explained very clearly what was going on with our ~140 yr old house and put our minds at ease. I can't say enough good things about Nick & Reidy construction. Nick came highly recommended by close friends after he did a very large job at their house to address structural issues in their basement. He has come to my house & chatted with me multiple times on the phone to help me problem solve some mysterious leaks in my back foundation wall and front brick facade. Each time it was determined that the work that needed to be done was better suited to another contractor (e.g., someone to put down new concrete in the back). I have offered to pay him on multiple occasions for his consultation and he has refused payment! Moreover, he certainly could've suggested repairs that I didn't need that would have padded his pockets, but instead he was honest and direct about what needed to be done in a way that didn't serve his interests. All of that to say -- if you want an honest opinion about what needs to be done to your house, Nick is the guy. Having an old house, I've received estimates from many, many contractors for different jobs & it is clear that many suggest work that benefits them and isn't actually needed. This is NOT Nick. Kudos to Nick for being an honest professional who is generous with his time & respectful of his customers (even those who have not yet paid him for any work).

We remodeled our entire first floor - changed room locations, gutted spaces, and phased the entire thing so that we had a working kitchen the entire time. Our experience was beyond perfect. Nick is very friendly , informative and punctual . He came out and gave us an estimate for the outside corner of house bc it had been causing water to come in the basement . I was just home from hospital after covid for 3 weeks. The work was done the week before Xmas . Nick was always on site and he had 3 workers who would arrive at least 10 minutes before starting. Always told us when they would start in the morning . The guys dug and put down the cement in the pouring rain. Always leaving the work site cleaned up . Nick even talked to our neighbors and told them he would reseed a small part of their grass that was run over by wheel barrow..
Chris and I would recommend Reidy construction, absolutely.
